ABOUT US

Introducing Households of Faith

Households of Faith was started with a simple idea – God’s intention is to bless every household. Our deep desire is to help you experience that blessing in your own life and those around you. Households of faith will help you grow spiritually as you band together with fellow households and put into practice the disciplines taught in our course.

The Households of Faith movement is based on the historical teachings of the Bible. We will reference the Bible often, and by studying passages from it, attempt to hear what God is telling us that is relevant to our circumstances and our times. We will seek God’s guidance and expect his favor.

Ultimately, you will incorporate Bible study, prayer and worship with household members and develop a lifestyle that helps you and your household to flourish. As you put your faith into practice, you will experience God’s promised presence and rich blessing in your lives.

Our deep hope is that you will join us and thousands of other households in a worldwide movement that is embracing God’s promised blessing to all the families of the earth.

About Us

Jonathan Lewis

Jonathan P. Lewis

I was born in Argentina, into a large family, the sixth of eight children. I had godly parents who tried to nurture our faith in God.

As a young adult, I decided I wanted to help others discover who God made them to be and develop their vocation. In pursuit of that goal, I earned an M.A. in Education and later, a P.hd. in vocational education. I believe that God has a beautiful design for every person and family and I have tried to help people develop their calling.

With my wife and four children, we lived and worked in Latin America, developing vocational training programs, as well as in the United States and Canada. I also wrote several manuals to help people develop their careers. Dawn and I have been married for 47 years and we enjoy living in Ferndale, Washington where we are a part of Good News Fellowship.

I am the oldest of five boys and have a youngest half-sister. When I was twelve years old, my father left our family home, which is a huge part of my faith story. I deeply longed for our household to be whole, but he never reconciled and returned home. What I discovered, however, was belonging, peace, and joy in the Lord.

Now, I am committed to helping other households experience God’s blessing wherever they are at in their faith journey. I serve as the lead pastor of Good News Fellowship a MB Church in Ferndale, WA.

In addition to serving the church, my experience and gifts focus on discipleship. I’ve received a Bachelors degree in Biblical Ministry and a Masters in Christian Theology. My wife Jen and I love spending time and raising our four kids.
